Demand and buyer behavior
NPC buyers have scientific interests and demand conditions. Dataset size, category, quality, novelty, prior licenses, reputation, and license type can change offer value.
License choices
You can monetize a dataset without necessarily surrendering it. Non-exclusive licensing is repeatable within policy limits, exclusive licensing gives stronger rights to one buyer, and a full sale transfers ownership.
